Description
PROPINK® L77 PINK® Fiberglas™ Unbonded Loosefill Insulation is an alternative to roll or batt insulation in attics, walls, floors, and ceilings for new construction or retrofit applications.
Compliance
PROPINK® L77 PINK® Fiberglas™ Insulation conforms to the product requirements of the following:
- ASTM C764 Type I (pneumaticapplication)
- ASTM C687 To determine R-value
- ASTM E136 Rated noncombustible
- ASTM E84 <25 Flamespread <50 Smoke dev.
- ASTM 1104 Nonabsorbent(water)
- ASTM C1338 Does not support mold growth
The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) document NFPA 13, Standard for the Installation of Fire Sprinkler Systems, is referenced in both the ICC Intl. Building Code and Intl. Residential Code. Section 8.15.1.2.7 of the 2013 edition of the standard states, "Concealed spaces filled with noncombustible insulation shall not require sprinkler protection."
