PITTWRAP® HS Jacketing is a a heat sealable multiple laminate for protecting underground FOAMGLAS® insulation for outer surface temperatures below 190°F. It consists of three layers of a polymer modified bitumen compound separated by glass fabric reinforcement and aluminum foil.
An outer layer of polyester film is laminated to the bitumen compound. A release paper prevents sticking in the roll before use.
Service Temperature Limits: 20 to 190°F
Recommended for underground / direct buried pipelines including shallow buried water service pipelines, above ambient service pipelines, commercial chilled water and cold service applications. Preferred for situations where wet soil is the norm. Not intended for indoor use.
U.S. Stock Item. Available in standard 24 in x 50 ft rolls with butt strip, 4 in x 50 ft butt strips and 48 in x 25 ft rolls.
