3 COMMUNITY-DRIVEN PROGRAMS.
COUNTLESS LIVES CHANGED.
The Platinum Cares Fund provides financial assistance to Owens Corning roofing Platinum Preferred Contractors and their employees facing unexpected hardship or disaster. Supported by the Owens Corning foundation and the Platinum Preferred Contractors, grants range from $500 to $2,500 based on demonstrated need. Actual grant award amounts are based on individual financial need as demonstrated through required documentation in the grant application.
Owens Corning Roof Responders Project, established in 2025, was developed with the goal of making a real difference in the lives of our first responders and their families. With the support of Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractors, we will continue to help those who sacrifice for our country.
Since 2016, Owens Corning has partnered with our Platinum Preferred roofing contractors and charitable partners in the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project. Through this program, contractors are given the opportunity to volunteer their services to a veteran in need, while Owens Corning donates the roofing materials. Nearly 800 new roofs have been donated to veterans and their families in need.
PAST INITIATIVES
In April 2024, in honor of National Volunteer Month, Owens Corning launched the #OCPlatinumGivesBack giving program.
This program offered the opportunity to leverage the charitable giving of the Owens Corning roofing Platinum Contractor network in partnership with the Owens Corning Foundation. It was exciting to see our target goal of more than $1,000,000 reached by a mix of volunteer hours and donations which supported a Gary Sinise Foundation R.I.S.E. Home for Retired U.S. Army Sergeant Josh Hargis and his family.

Caring for our communities
At the 2024 Platinum Conference, Owens Corning roofing Platinum Preferred Contractors made 6,000 school lunches to support Blessings in a Backpack, a national organization that mobilizes communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends for school-aged children across America who might otherwise go hungry.
