Caring for our communities | Owens Corning Foundation | Owens Corning

Sustainability is rooted in the idea that people deserve the opportunity to enjoy a high quality of life. That’s why we consistently seek to engage with communities around the world, especially in the places where our people live and work. It’s an idea that is very much in keeping with our values — especially the idea that we are dedicated to caring for our people and our communities.

While financial support is an essential element of our approach to corporate citizenship, we are proud of the fact that our employees are very much at the center of our efforts around the world. Their volunteerism is a key driver of our community engagement efforts, and in many ways, they guide our philanthropic endeavors.

In fact, it’s our goal that by 2030, 100% of our employees will be actively engaged in their communities through company-sponsored activities.

Jackson Joins 20th Annual Canstruction Event

The Jackson team took part in RIFA’s Canstruction event, which helps provide food to those in need. Using about 1,600 cans, the team built a Minecraft-themed display alongside 16 other local groups. All canned goods and donations went directly to RIFA to support the community.

OUR PRIORITIES

Owens Corning contributes to thriving communities — where we work, where we live, and anywhere we have the potential to make a positive impact. Our work around the world has helped improve lives everywhere. We focus on three priorities that are essential for equitable communities.
