PITTWRAP® B100 Aluminum-Butyl Wrap | Owens Corning Insulation

PITTWRAP® B100 is a 47 mil self-sealing aluminum butyl laminate specifically formulated to help protect FOAMGLAS® insulation systems from moisture and physical damage. This insulation accessory is made from a heavy-duty material that helps shield insulated piping from weather, punctures, and tears. A protective outer jacket is required for UV protection. Manual pressure seals the wrap without the use of a torch or heater.

PITTWRAP® B100 is recommended for above- and below-ambient service pipelines and equipment in commercial and industrial facilities. This aluminum butyl tape is well suited for commercial chilled water systems, LNG, cold service, and cryogenic applications utilizing FOAMGLAS® cellular glass insulation systems. It also provides freeze-thaw protection for demanding piping systems. Not intended for below-ground or indoor use.
