Our goal for the product launch is to make a value-added, formaldehyde-free claim at no change in price from the phenolic board to the formaldehyde-free board. We will continue to work closely with our Sourcing teams to evaluate and monitor future supplier and logistics costs.

Yes, it can be mixed with order shipments, but we suggest not mixing in the same job installations. Since the product is exposed, there could be slight differences in color, and we suggest using all the same material code on each individual installation.

Yes, the product will be available to ship out of our Heath, Ohio warehouse and can be shipped with other products.

No, packaging and load factors remain the same as the current products.

Yes! Our current phenolic products are safe. The formaldehyde-free version was developed to meet increasing indoor air quality requirements.

Customers cannot exchange their current phenolic product for the new formulation. Customers can purchase the new FF product provided stock is available, but we will not be exchanging orders.

We have listened to our customers; there is a market need to meet changing market regulations for formaldehyde-free products. We are making this change to ensure that our SelectSound® customers do not lose out on future bids due to these requirements.

We have completed over three years of internal acceptance testing and external field testing with customers, and an 8,500 square foot install at a brewery, restaurant venue with outstanding results. We have received enough positive feedback and testing confirmation to give us confidence to move forward with a new product launch. Additionally, we have completed all required third-party certifications with UL and Green Guard. We are including a submittal sheet that shows the FF product still meets all the same qualifications and now meets additional UL Validated Formaldehyde-Free certification and GREENGUARD GOLD certification.
