Lightweight non combustible A1 classified fire reaction layer in solar flat roof construction

Light in weight.

Heavy on performance.

A weight off your mind.

Why BarrierSheet

AllShield BarrierSheet® available by Owens Corning

Lightweight passive fire performance for flat roofs

AllShield BarrierSheet® available by Owens Corning is a thin, lightweight, non-combustible fire barrier sheet designed for flat-roof assemblies.

Installed directly between the roof insulation and the waterproofing membrane, BarrierSheet provides an additional fire protection layer within the roof build-up.

With an A1 reaction-to-fire classification, a weight of just 3.0 kg/m² and a nominal thickness of 2.5 mm, BarrierSheet combines documented fire performance with practical handling and easy installation on site.

It is designed for new construction and renovation of commercial and industrial flat roofs, including warehouses, logistics centres, production facilities and other large-roof buildings. It can be incorporated into flat-roof projects with or without rooftop solar PV installations.

BarrierSheet can be used with common roof insulation materials, including PIR and mineral wool, in suitable roof assemblies. Its lightweight design is particularly relevant to renovation projects where additional roof loading needs to be carefully considered.
