Underground piping

Above ambient underground process piping and equipment

A FOAMGLAS® insulation system helps to ensure that the temperature inside the pipes is controlled and kept stable by limiting the heat transfer to the cold soil. In most of these applications it is vital that the temperature is kept constant over the entire length of the piping network to ensure process control.

Piping with electrical tracing

Heat traced process piping and equipment

FOAMGLAS® cellular glass insulation helps ensure that the temperature inside the pipes is controlled and isn’t impacted by outside influences, helping to achieve process control.

pipes with red valves at oil refinery

Dual temperature process piping and equipment

Systems that are in dual temperature service operate at temperatures varying between two limits, usually a high temperature and a low temperature.

storage spheres sunset

Spherical storage tanks

Thermal insulation solutions for spherical storage tanks operating at above or below ambient temperatures. Our systems limit heat transfer and fire risks and provide moisture and corrosion resistance so that process control is assured and energy costs are kept at a minimum.

Fire Fighting

PFP for process piping and equipment

Thermal insulation solutions for passive fire protection in processing and commercial environments. Our insulation systems serve to protect piping and equipment from fire damage, retard fire spread and help safeguard personnel.

Air ducts

Air Ducts

Insulating air ducts helps the control the temperature within the ducts and to prevent the ducts from leaking air, resulting in greater energy consumption and costs.

District heating pipes

Steam and hot water underground process piping and equipment

A FOAMGLAS® insulation system helps ensure that the temperature inside the steam pipes is controlled and kept stable, limiting the heat transfer to the cold soil, and helping the system to operate efficiently.

Air Shaft with Foamglas

Air Shafts

Ventilation moves outdoor air into a building or room, and distributes the air. The general purpose of ventilation in buildings is to provide healthy air for breathing.

Piping with cladding

Above ambient process piping and equipment

Installing a closed cell insulation system such as FOAMGLAS® insulation can help prevent moisture and flammable liquids from penetrating the system.

Pool Fire Suppressant Generation 1

Underground gas piping

Below ambient underground process piping and equipment

A FOAMGLAS® insulation system helps protect underground pipes from possible ingress of moisture, limiting corrosion of the pipe. FOAMGLAS® insulations helps keep the system dry and maintain its thermal efficiency over time, so the integrity of the content is maintained and operating costs are controlled.

hot tank bottom

High temperature storage tank bases

Our tank base systems provide adequate compressive strength to support the tank and its contents as well as limit heat transfer and provide mechanical, moisture and corrosion resistance so that process control is assured and energy costs are kept at a minimum.

White gas storage tanks

Low temperature tank wall and roof

Our tank wall and roof systems will limit heat transfer and provide moisture and corrosion resistance so that process control is assured.

Water storage tank

Fresh water storage tanks

Thermal insulation solutions for steel and concrete water tanks. Our systems will limit heat transfer and provide moisture, corrosion and chemical resistance to prevent any impairment of the water quality.

HVAC piping

Sewage Lines

Thermal insulation solutions for sewage lines

Water pipes

Chilled water process piping and equipment

Chilled water systems play an important role in meeting the cooling needs of industrial facilities.

pipes at oil and gas refinery

Cold to ambient process piping and equipment

By using a closed cell FOAMGLAS® insulation system you can help prevent moisture entering your insulation system.

Chilled water piping

Chilled water systems

Thermal insulation solutions for chilled water pipes that provide resistance to the formation of condensation assuring the integrity of the pipes over time. Our chilled water insulation systems will limit heat transfer and provide moisture and corrosion resistance and will not burn or produce any smoke or fumes in case...

LNG storage tanks in Poland

Cryogenic temperature tank wall and roof

Our tank wall and roof systems will limit heat transfer and provide moisture, corrosion and mechanical resistance so that process control is assured.

fire sprinkler

Sprinkler Tanks

Thermal insulation tank solutions for sprinkler tanks

LNG pipes

LNG piping and equipment

The quality, longevity and productivity of LNG plants rely on the qualities of the thermal insulation.

Burried water pipes

Underground sewage pipes

The impermeability of FOAMGLAS® insulation helps mitigate moisture from rain or ground water that can affect the integrity of the system. This assists in the system remaining dry - helping limit corrosion, and provide a constant thermal performance.

Koole Terminals

Above ambient storage tank bases

A FOAMGLAS® tank base insulation system will prevent energy losses and ensure tanks are operating in the most efficient way. The total payback period of the investment in a FOAMGLAS® tank base insulation system, will range from months to just a couple of years depending on the storage temperature of the contained liquid...

Liquid oxygen tanks

LIN and LOX process piping and equipment

Insulation systems for liquid oxygen -183°C (-297°F) and liquid nitrogen -196°C (-320°F) require a specialized approach that considers the properties of the equipment to be insulated and the chemical and physical properties of the insulation to be used.

Horizontal vessels

Above ground storage vessels

Thermal insulation solutions for above ground storage vessels operating at cold or hot temperatures. Our systems limit heat transfer and fire risks and provide moisture and corrosion resistance so that process control is assured and energy costs are kept at a minimum.

Red water sprinkler and pipes

Sprinkler Pipes

Thermal insulation solutions for sprinkler pipes

Gas tank and pipelines

Liquid gases piping and equipment

A well-performing insulation material helps in creating an efficient system that will maintain its thermal properties for years, greatly reducing long-term energy consumption.

storage tanks

High temperature tank wall and roof

The impermeable closed cell nature of FOAMGLAS® insulation will prevent any ingress of moisture and possible Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) dangers that could mitigate deterioration of your storage tanks.

Oil refinery

Thermal oil piping and equipment

Closed-cell insulation is uniquely able to help eliminate the risk of wicking fires, and due to the closed-cell nature of FOAMGLAS® insulation, oil cannot enter the insulation. This preserves thermal conductivity and helps limit wicking dangers.
