Performance Attributes

The mineral wool insulation is pressed tightly between the wall ties (metal connectors that anchor the outer wall layer to the inner structure), so it holds in place on its own. Once the insulation is in position, the RainBarrier® insulation clip is snapped onto the wall tie using the notches in the clip to lock it into place. This process is repeated for each row of insulation using these clips. The system is typically installed in cavity walls and rainscreen systems, working with various hanger styles, including flange and flat types. Flange hangers are often used with thicker cladding or structural elements, whereas flat hangers are typically preferred when a lower-profile attachment is required.
