Owens Corning recognized as a top 1% sustainability leader
Owens Corning has been recognized by S&P Global as a Top 1% performer in the Sustainability Yearbook 2026 for the building products industry, placing the company among a select group of sustainability leaders worldwide.
Out of more than 9,200 companies across 59 industries assessed through S&P Global’s 2025 Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), only 848 companies were included in this year’s Sustainability Yearbook. Owens Corning’s distinction reflects relative performance within the building products industry, based on a 2025 CSA score of 81 out of 100.
The S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment evaluates companies on a wide range of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria, including climate strategy, operational efficiency, innovation, human capital, and transparent reporting. Distinction levels are calculated against the top-performing company in each industry and are industry specific.
“Recognition like this makes me proud of the people of Owens Corning,” said Julie Childers, director of sustainability. “It’s a reflection of our teams’ focus on embedding sustainability into our operations, products, and decision-making processes. Transparent measurement and disciplined execution are how we continue to deliver long-term value for customers, communities, and shareholders.”
