As part of our broader journey towards Inclusion and Diversity, Owens Corning aspires to make our website and other digital assets as inclusive as possible. In order to meet digital accessibility criteria and requirements, we adhere to the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Specifically, our conformance goal is WCAG 2.1 Level AA or better.


Our aspiration

Our aspiration to digital accessibility is that all visitors, regardless of where they fall on the spectrum of ability, have equitable access to the information and services provided on OwensCorning.com. We are currently taking steps towards this aspiration by:

  • Outlining and following through on a three-phased approach to reaching WCAG 2.1 AA conformance.
  • Conducting Quality Assurance (QA) testing for digital accessibility before publication of any new digital content.
  • Provide training throughout the company, across various topics that pertain to digital accessibility in order to help our employees grow knowledge on and awareness of the importance of compliance.
  • Encouraging feedback on any improvements that can contribute to better user experiences.
  • Ensure that digital accessibility has a permanent presence in our Inclusion and Diversity efforts.

Applicability

This statement applies to all public-facing OwensCorning.com webpages that are developed in-house by Owens Corning.


Goals

The future goals of Owens Corning pertaining to Web Accessibility are:

  • Moving to additional phases for WCAG 2.1 AA conformance.
  • Continued QA testing and remediation of existing non-accessible content on OwensCorning.com.
  • Expanding the applicability of this document to vendor-managed portions of OwensCorning.com and to other domains managed by Owens Corning.
