How to Claim your tax credit

Purchase products from a qualified manufacturer.

In order to be eligible for Inflation Reduction Act tax credits, you must purchase qualified products. Owens Corning offers a manufacturers certificate for a range of insulation products that meet the Inflation Reduction Act requirements.

Keep track of product identification numbers, receipts, and invoices.

When you submit your tax return, include the product identification number in order to qualify for tax credits. Keep documentation of your purchases, including materials and labor, for up to 5 years after your taxes have been filed in case of an audit.

Fill out the necessary tax form.

When you complete your income taxes, fill out IRS Form 5695 with the required information. The applicable form, for the applicable year will be available through the IRS.
